Being good takes practice.

If we are trying to do the right thing it will show in our actions.

Sometimes we do things that are naughty.

When we do something wrong we should tell others we're sorry and ask God for His forgiveness and His help.

Then we should live our lives in a way that shows God we really want to be good.

When Christians do good things other people see their actions and give God the glory.
(Matt. 5:16)
We need to do more than say we love God. We must put that love into action.
(Jas. 2:24; I John 3:18)

When we obey God's rules we are a light to the world.
(Matt. 5:14)
Like a lighthouse that guides ships to a safe harbor in rough seas, when people see our good works they are guided out of a sinful world toward God and His wonderful way of life.
God tells us to let our light shine so that other people can see how a true child of God behaves.
(Matt. 5:16)
